Photo Booth Hire & General Hire Terms
GoofBooth Photo Booth Hire will provide a Photo Booth for your Event, with the booking being secured only after receipt of the deposit payment (non-refundable or transferable to other items). In the event of a change of date the deposit can be transferred subject to availability. Remaining balance is payable by bank transfer 7 days before your event or may be paid via cleared funds at the start of your event, before the hire begins.
Your booth is available for use only for the stated hire time & we typically arrive up to 30mins before the hire begins i.e. 7:30pm arrival for an 8pm start - if you require an earlier setup, idle time must be pre-requested at a cost of £20/hour. Also, additional usage hours can be purchased on the night for £50 or booked in advance. The client is responsible to provide the correct details on the booking form & if incorrect details are entered which prevents us from providing a booth as expected, there will be a discretionary maximum refund of £45. Hires are up to 12am - should the client wish for it to be later it must be requested & a charge of £25 applies to any hire going beyond 12am irrespective of the duration of the hire. We find that, for the best pictures, the most optimum time for hires is finishing no later than 11pm.
Unless otherwise agreed, the booth will print one picture for your guestbook which we provide and one copy per sitting within the booth, guests may enter the booth as many times as they would like within the hire period.
Pictures are uploaded into a personalised Facebook album for you & your guests to browse. If you would not like this please let us know in advance.
If selected when booking, we will also bring keyring making equipment which will enable guests to have keyrings as keepsakes. If guests wish to purchase extra copies of prints or large single prints - we can also do this for £3.5 per print unless asked in advance for this not to be available. This is intended to further enhance the client experience and give guests the opportunity to take wonderful mementos from your event.
Guestbook albums are a great way to capture the celebration of your party in a book that you can cherish forever! We ask you where possible to remind your guests to use the album, we will & have various reminders & instruction for guests to use it although do not guarantee that every picture will feature. You will receive a disc with exclusive access to all pictures in HD so if there is a particular picture you want in there - the opportunity for you to print it privately after the event is catered for & encouraged ;)
Whilst we encourage the fun use of the booth, we ask that the attendants instruction is followed from all guests to ensure safe use of the booth for all involved and reducing the risk of damage which could affect your hire in the unlikely event that it occurs.
We have a 40 mile free delivery radius for our any booth hire covering Newcastle, Sunderland, Middlesbrough, Teeside, Durham, Darlington & North East. Anything above is £0.45p/mile. Deposit is refundable if GoofBooth are responsible for a cancellation but otherwise it is not.
Listed prices do not apply for bank holidays, New Years Eve & Day, Christmas Day & major public holidays - please contact us for a quote on these occasions.
Light up letters: standard hire includes drop off & collection only, with the letters in one position for the hire. The position in which the letters are situated is to be agreed with GoofBooth for a trouble free & enjoyable hire. Changing position of the letters mid day carries a £45 fee. Collection time is 12am or slightly before. If later is preferred - please ask in advance & it is charged at £25/hr, if available. No sitting on letters is permitted as they can bend. If the letters are obtained on an offer price (below £250) - day hire as well as evening is not guaranteed - this carries an extra charge of £45 unless otherwise agreed.
All single hires of light up letters, Candy items, mood lighting or postbox carry an extra mileage charge for drop off & collection beyond 10 miles from our base at 0.45p/mile. This does not apply if booked with a photo booth or if booking two or more items :)
Video Booth - if using video booth we recommend a quiet room with low background noise for the best audio. We do not guarantee good audio if the booth is positioned in a room with music or lots of people so please bear this in mind when choosing the position for the booth.
Postbox hires: Postbox must be emptied ready for collection from 11pm with the keys left in the postbox. If postbox or keys are taken away to the room & we cannot collect on the night from 11pm - a further collection charge of £50 is due to enable us to return the next day to collect. In such events we reserve the right to pause post event services until the balance is settled.
Packages including other items (Light Letters/Candy Cart/Postbox/etc): One delivery is included with the package - GoofBooth do not commit to delivering the items at different times throughout the day except in the case of an agreed LOVE letters day hire & photo booth evening hire. If more than one delivery is required this incurs an extra delivery charge of £45. Candy hire items involve a guaranteed hire time of 4hrs & we commit to delivering all items for when they are needed - earlier delivery/late collections can be requested at £20/hr idle time charge.
GoofBooth offer a MONEY BACK GUARANTEE - In the unlikely event of a technical problem with the booth or if there is a late start, firstly we will extend the hire to make sure the full hire time is given. If this can't be done - a refund will be given pro rata to any time lost after reviewing the time stamp on the files. We offer this because you can rest assured we take account for all circumstances & aim to provide you with the best service possible
